Line of Events

Three strangers – who live in the same New York City apartment building and share an obsession with true crime – suddenly find themselves involved in a murder… He is actually a very talented and gifted musician. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lives above Oliver, who lives above Mabel, with that elevator scene.

BUT the opening has CHS in an apartment on the 7th floor, Oliver on the 8th, Mabel on the 9th – in reverse order and well below CHS’ actual floor in the series. I just watched Murder Only in the Building and I have to say I liked it more than I thought I would. At first I wasn’t going to watch it because it seemed like a show aimed at over 60s.

I was wrong

After seeing all the great reviews and all the award nominations for both seasons, I finally gave in and watched it. The show for those who don’t know is funny. It’s about three strangers who love true crime podcasts and suddenly find themselves involved in a murder in their own apartment building.

The series has something for everyone

These three (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, and Martin Short) start piecing together the clues to find the killer. If you’re looking for a show that’s just fun and entertaining, give it a try. It’s just a fun show that you can binge-watch in a few days.
