The opening credit sequence shows various photographic and painted views as well as Oklahoma landmarks superimposed on the New York landscape: the Sioux Indian chief “Touch the Clouds” statue; wearing War Bonnet and Bone Choker necklace (breastplate) placed on top of Brooklyn BridgeGolden Driller Statue placed on Statue of LibertyRoute 66 Western Gateway Arch placed on Major Manhattan “Avenue”. In New York, in the Manhattan district, there are several numbered “Avenues”; which are interspersed with smaller numbered streets… Featured on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #45.7 (2022). You knew there had to be a good script for Stallone to do a TV show, and of course it would be created by Taylor Sheridan.

Everything he touches turns to gold

Sheridan continues to hit home run after home run. It’s the best thing going on TV right now, with incredible shows like Yellowstone, 1883, The Mayor of Kingstown, etc. And movies like Sicario, Hell or High Water and Wind River.

I mean come on?

One of the other writers is Terence Winter, who wrote series such as The Sopranos & Boardwalk Empire. There was no way this show could be bad with these two at the helm. It has everything you want in a good show…drama, violence, comedy, etc.
