I live in Darby, MT where most of this was filmed – just yesterday they were filming right across the street from me in a field with some horses and cattle.

I think the series is a pretty solid story, and in a niche where Costner gives his all

One thing I noticed about the first season, given my half-Indian side, is that it leaves you wondering who the good guys and the bad guys are – maybe both sides are good and bad, I admit it’s nice to see them on set as the ranch is just down the road from me and I pass by almost every day on my way to fish the Bitterroot River.
