A retired CIA agent is haunted by both the agency he once worked for and his own nightmares when he is suddenly visited by an unknown man after nearly three decades. During this time, Jeff Bridges was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, then treated.

Once he had recovered, the series went back into production. Bridges referred to the return as coming back from a "long weekend" for podcast in July 2022.
Well, it not only met those expectations, but exceeded them in every way
I’ve been looking forward to seeing The Old Man ever since I saw the first trailer. I’m a fan of spy thrillers and Jeff Bridges, so I had high hopes for this one.
Acting, writing, directing, etc
FX always delivers great content and this show is no different. The only bad thing about this show is that we have to wait a week between episodes.
Binge watching has ruined me because I just don’t like waiting a week between episodes
I wish they’d release them all at once like Netflix but since it’s on Network TV I get it. I’m definitely looking forward to season two and hope it continues to be as good as this season.
