Kelly-Anne’s poker website username is LadyOfShalott, a reference to a 19th-century Camelot-themed poem called “The Lady of Shallot” by English poet Alfred Tennyson. Its eponymous character suffers from isolation, unlike Kelly-Anne. Red Rooms is about a fanatical fan who is obsessed with the ongoing trial of a serial killer. The biggest highlight of this film is how Plante portrayed this 'crazy' fan. He wrote the character with so much depth and in a way I’ve never seen before. The plot itself is pretty straightforward, even though it’s a slow, conversational horror; something to keep in mind. There is a lack of clarity, which, whether intentional or not, is a slight downside. The game is very good by all, ambitious and beautiful cinematography with a superb score. Overall, this is a well rounded movie. 8/10 I really enjoyed it.
